Supporting Our Children, Teachers & Administrators
Our main purpose at the Parent/Teacher Organization (PTO) is to enrich the educational experience of our children attending Ben Franklin Elementary. We work in partnership with teachers and administrators by collaborating thoughts and ideas on how parents of students can best support our school. The PTO’s efforts encompass five areas of service that include:
• Family Care;
• School Spirit and Social Events;
• Fundraising;
• Classroom Enrichment; and
• Health and Fitness.
Parent involvement lays essential groundwork for being a strong school and creating educational opportunities so we encourage all parents (both Moms and Dads) to get involved. There are several volunteer opportunities and many require minimal time. Whether your availability is light or you’re able to be highly involved, every contribution (small or large) is important and significant! We look forward to another great year serving and supporting our teachers, administrators and most importantly, our children.
