I was born in Denver and moved to Casper, Wyoming when I was two. I loved growing up in a small town and being the second oldest in a family of three sisters and two brothers. As a young child, I spent many hours reading and later loved playing volleyball and basketball in middle school.
I graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B. A. in Elementary Education. I moved back to Denver and began substitute teaching parttime for 9 years while raising my family. My most recent teaching includes teaching preschool for three years, teaching kindergarten in Douglas County, and now six years as a kindergarten teacher at Franklin. Besides the joy I receive teaching, I love being a mom! Jordan is my oldest son at 25, Camille is a junior at CU, and James is my seventh grader at Euclid Middle School. I Iove that all three of my children went to Franklin and that I now have the privilege to teach in such an awesome school! In my spare time I enjoy reading novels, gardening, leisure walks on the canal, and camping with my family in Colorado and Wyoming.
