Principal’s Message
Welcome to Franklin Elementary School!
Our caring, nurturing and supportive environment is immediately experienced the moment you walk into our building. The warm and friendly office staff, numerous parent volunteers working throughout the building and the engaging students and staff that greet you will immediately illustrate how special our school is. I am proud to be the principal of this wonderful place.
We offer kindergarten through fifth grade settings with a variety of distinctive programs including gifted and talented and special education, academic intervention supports, a state of the art science lab, and ever-increasing integrated technology. With our building-wide positive behavior support program focusing on Keys to Success – be respectful, be responsible, be safe and be kind, students are internalizing and demonstrating positive citizenship characteristics.
Our goal is to support every student in every way with research-based best practices, a rigorous curriculum and differentiated instructional strategies. The successes our students experience are evident in their daily achievements as well as through our annual accomplishments apparent in our School Accountability Report rating of excellent where an average of 83% of our students are proficient or above in reading, writing, and mathematics according to the Colorado Student Assessment Program.
Thank you for visiting Franklin – we would love to have you as a member of our wonderful school.
Sincerely,
Janie Youderian
Principal

BIOGRAPHY

My name is Janie Youderian.  I attended Pt.
